Faulkner and Chapman designed an entertaining area for a small courtyard garden. It consists of raised decking with built in seating and BBQ. The whole area is covered with shade sail and the deck has its own roof with glass splashback and Perspex screens on both sides to shield the wind. The fences are covered in Bamboo screens and the garden has been finished with colored foliage plants to give a ‘Melbourne tropical’ feel.

A small side courtyard was also renovated with a sculptural centrepiece and capping added to an existing pond. This courtyard was finished if accent plants to give a ‘Japanese’ feel.
